Delete from inside the app (recommended)

Fastest way — your account is removed immediately.

  1. Open the Trip Saathi app on your phone.
  2. Go to Profile (bottom navigation).
  3. Tap SettingsAccount.
  4. Tap Delete Account and confirm with your password.

Request deletion by email

Can't access the app? Send us an email from your registered address.

To protect your account, please email us from the same email address you used to sign up. We may ask one verification question before processing.

What happens when you delete

Timeline

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you only want to take a break, consider signing out instead — your data will stay safe until you return.

How long does deletion take?

In-app deletion is immediate. Email requests are confirmed within 1–2 business days, and full permanent deletion (including backups) is completed within 30 days.

Will my friends still see my old expenses?

Expenses you added to trips owned by other people remain inside those trips, but your name is replaced with "Deleted user". This is necessary so the group's settle-up math stays accurate.

Can I recover my account after deletion?

No. Deletion is permanent. If you sign up again later with the same email, it will be a fresh account with no past data.

I forgot my password — can I still delete my account?

Yes. Use the email method above. We will verify your identity using your registered email address before deleting the account.

Can I download my data before deleting?

Yes. Email us at pktiwari110487@gmail.com with the subject "Export my data" and we will send you a copy within 30 days.

Will I receive a confirmation after deletion?

Yes. We send a final confirmation email once your account and personal data have been permanently removed from our systems.
